We can't work forever
For most of us, our greatest assets is our living body. But as we aged, meeting the requirement for our daily job seem further and further away.





We all maybe able to live longer in the future
With better technology and health care, We will be able to have a longer life expectancy. Not to forget, the human body like an asset, will depreciate in heath gradually. Though there are medical solution available, there is an expensive price tag to each solution, and how many of us could actually keep up with the medical cost after we retire?
There is no guarantee that our body will not fail us one day, be it illness , accident or aging.

Even we can, we may lose our job
Most individual receive their main source of income from their 9 to 5 work, this maybe their only source to live by each day. In today society, it is hard to find a retrenchment-free job. Businesses may fail or restructured and loyal employees may get lay off.

Life as it is
Some of us live to work while Others work to live. Work is a means to earn ourselves a living. How many of us, are enduring the time at work which does not fit our personality but doing it for survival.

Not Depending on offspring for care during old age
It is a well known filial piety Asian culture in the most Asia family oriented country to be good towards parents. This concept seem to putting all hope for old age care on the children, but would it be better and more fulfilling if one could live through his life without depending anyone? But I do urge everyone to support their parents till their last for the reason that they are your life giver.

Be vigilant and prepare
Concluding from the above points, we should not depend the ideology of living comfortably with a 9 to 5 job but with the will to be financially independent.
